Week 1

My scale says I lost 5 pounds!!!  Very exciting!  Especially since I ate out 3 of the 7 days and Sunday I didn't even remember that I was on a diet!  I'm afraid I broke every rule Sunday.  I made homemade biscuits and ate them (lots of them!) with butter and peach jam!  AND I had a couple of fun-size Peanut Butter Snickers!  Oh well, I was mourning Craig being gone for 2 weeks to South Carolina and me being home with the kids!  But I am loving seeing that scale go down (not really going down, it's digital) and it is inspiring me and making me think about what I eat!  Hopefully soon I will start adding some exercise - walking outside.  It snowed again last night, so we will see!  I know I could do a walking video inside or heaven forbid use the treadmill downstairs or even the Wii Fit (look at all of my options!!!) but I really like to go outside and I know I won't make the time to do something inside!
