I like to watch my carbs to lose weight, but I have also followed this meal plan to lose weight and it's easier for me to follow.
Breakfast - Slim-Fast shake and fruit
Snack - fruit or veggie
Lunch - Slim-Fast shake, meal with 10 grams of protein and no more than 9 grams of fat and up to 300 calories (Banquet meals are good for this and they're cheap!), fruit or veggie (I like to have a salad).
Snack - fruit or veggie
Dinner - Slim-Fast shake, meal (same as lunch), fruit or veggie
I try to drink 1 - 24 oz. bottle of water, flavored with a 10 calorie drink packet (like Crystal Light) with every meal and snack. And I have 1 soda a day - Diet Dr. Pepper.
Exercise - walking, yoga, gardening, Wii sports, etc.
I am going to be weighing myself every Monday and taking my blood pressure every morning as soon as I wake up, just to keep a record for myself.
My 25th wedding anniversary is February 23rd, 2016 and I am trying to lose some weight before then, not be back to what I was when I got married, but closer to it than I am now! I want to do it gradually and healthy so I can hopefully keep it off. Wish me luck!
